A seperate but complimentary event is planning to tag along with the success of the Fayetteville’s popular First Thursday exhibition.
Worst Thursday — scheduled for 5 p.m. until late on Thursday, April 7, duh — will do its own thing at Uncle Gaylord’s, 315 W. Mountain St. near the square. I’m thinking something comparable to the Slamdance-Sundance relationship in the film festival world.
The art at Worst Thursday will include photography, painting, 3D, print, sound, video and more. Nathan Mcleod Group will perform live jazz early. Messy Sparkles and Acid of the East will provide electronic music. Hip-hop DJ XiumapeldaveQ will close the evening.
Artists will include Luke Knox, Brian Wolf, Jordan Bennett, Brian Abel, Kim Abel, Mike Anderson, Garrett Hunt, Chad Wilson, Celi Birke, JD Paul, Stephanie Pierce, Amber Perrodin, Laura Whitfield, Everett Byram, Kayla Moore, Mickey Heffernan, Sam King, Ashley Williams, Sara Norsworthy, Sara Levine, Amjad Faur, Jon Peven, Chad Sims, Jessica Beil, Andrew Donovan, Anna Wingfield, Roger Barrett and Digby Jukes.
