Northwest Arkansas is ready to get lit up in great balls of technicolor fire and celebrate 240 years of sweet, sweet American independence and liberty.
If you’re planning on going to one of the big fireworks shows this year, we’ve compiled a list of public fireworks shows by city and date. Definitely the biggest ones will be at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale and the Walmart AMP in Rogers with live music from Symphony of Northwest Arkansas.
Unfortunately, the fireworks show at the Northwest Arkansas Mall in Fayetteville this year has been cancelled. In fact, there aren’t any pubilc fireworks displays planned the weekend of the fourth. The closest option for Fayetteville folks to see a professional fireworks display will be at Parsons Stadium in Springdale or at Farmington High School, Saturday at 9 p.m.
So go ahead, out on those clothes emblazoned in red, white and blue, slap some food on the grill, jump in some water and drink a patriotic brew. Happy 4th of July.
