I have been the fashion director for Art Amiss since 2009, a local non profit that has been around for over 10 years now. Art Amiss has a board of five members; President Bo Counts, Music Director Eric Jensen, Visual Arts Kayla Rene Moore, Literary Director Yani Ko and myself.
The purpose of Art amiss is to host art related events in the community, and have the proceeds go back into the local art community. We’ve teamed up with editor Kody Ford of The Idle Classto create the second Annual “Black Apple Awards” event. This event selects, recognizes and celebrates “The Best of” in the arts throughout the state of Arkansas. As the Fashion director, I am in charge of producing the fashion show for this event. Art Amiss fashion shows always feature a variety of local artists and designers broken up into segments with each demonstrating a different form of art. These segments are put together to create one big show.
