Fayetteville First Thursday, Worst Thursday Tonight!

First Thursday and Worst Thursday are set to ‘art it up and never stop!

OK, they will stop sometime this evening, but that’s not the point. First Thursday will close down two sides of the Fayetteville square and run from 5 to 8 p.m. (please don’t rain!!!) with art and entertainment outdoors as well as inside at the Fayetteville Underground galleries. Missy Chase will be the live music entertainment.

Worst Thursday — think sort of a Slamdance to First Thursday’s Sundance — will start at 5 p.m. at Uncle Gaylord’s restaurant near the square. Numerous works by a variety of artists in different media will be on display. Live music will be provided by Nathan Mcleod Group, Messy Sparkles and Acid of the East. DJ XiumapeldaveQ will close the evening. There’s even a rumor there may be $2 beer there.
