Mars entered Libra Tuesday and is most likely trying to find a way out. Mars, on the personality-building level, is desire, action, anger, assertion, aggression and war how the personality stumbles toward peace, which, along with education, Libra tries to offer. Libra is air, the mind, Right Human Relations, learning how to balance relationships with equanimity. Sometimes Libra encounters war. She backs off, turns toward mediation, nonviolent (compassionate) communication, things beautiful, reasonable and good.
Mars “squirms” in Libra, until it learns that peace, equanimity, Right Relations and Goodwill actually feel good. Mars is then able to shift blind personality desire (blood) to the Soul level of aspiration (mind), seeking what’s best for the “other” and the self.
Next week Uranus and Mercury retrograde (Uranus Friday, Mercury Saturday). It’s best to complete plans, make agendas, finalize contracts and agreements this week, not planning important events during Mercury retrograde (through Aug. 8).
Only regular tasks are to be done. Thursday’s Aquarius moon, expect things unusual and erratic. Friday’s
v/c all day and night. Saturday is Pisces moon, a complex day ending with a possible monetary wound. Sunday we may ask, “Where’s my relationship? Where’s my drink? Where’s the pool? Who am I again?”
Monday we have more initiative, but less than usual. Mars is the ruler of Aries. Mars and Aries work together. They initiate things with fiery will. When Mars is in Libra, Aries turns the attention away from the self and toward the “other.” There could be arguments, passion, love. Mars seeks the usual ways of action and finds it unavailable. Libra, the queen of peace, prevails.

ARIES: An unusual time begins for you with new beliefs in yourself in relationship to others and a new way of working in the world (with others). Careful with communication, create a time for regular exercise, review supplements and vitamins. Sometimes fiery signs can’t maintain a health regimen. However, it’s vital to your present future tasks, upcoming demands and essential to longevity.
TAURUS: In many ways you’re becoming more like Pisces. This is far from disheartening. It’s rather special having Pisces’ compassionate characteristics. Yes, it’s difficult to perceive earth realities, difficult to walk a straight line and keep balance. Sometimes you’re clumsy and only the very present moment is real. Even with all these physical obstructions, seeing differently as you do, you still “save the world”. Your protector is elephant god Ganesh, remover of obstacles.
GEMINI: The message each week seems the same — the community and groups you will participate in, the duality you present, the love and synthesis gifts of Gemini from Sirius. Soon you must begin to discriminate and discern which groups are part of the New Group of World Servers and who are the people of Goodwill. It is toward these groups you will be magnetized. They call to you daily, each morning.
CANCER: So many things are culminating. Long held hopes and wishes bring forth new opportunities, aid and assistance. As you study and learn new information, especially about gardening and foods, you’re able to teach others ways to safeguard and sustain themselves. In return a deep love is given and received. New realities appear, new goals, hopes, wishes and dreams and a sense that you need subtle healing. Cranial Sacral would be good.
LEO: In the next year, as your horizons expand, you will enter new groups and endeavors. You may wonder about foreign places, seeking the unusual and culturally different, places and people that change your life. You’re ready, willing and able for a new reality. See the next year as a philosophical adventure containing new archetypes. A companion? I don’t know. You still have relationship wounds hidden away. Water helps.
VIRGO: You’re working hard within your usual values. In the next month your values may change. Be aware of this. You like to be practical and you’re ambitious. What for? Is it money, resources or being seen, known and understood? This is a complex question. Be aware of impatience and impulsiveness with spending. Use resources with deep respect and with gratitude.
LIBRA: Good yet unusual events unexpectedly occur in the next year. Money and relationships increase, then come and go, creating deeper awareness of resources. Sometimes we don’t know how to use money. Sometimes we give everything away. It’s important to have a relationship talk with your “other”. Ask about goals, dreams, wishes, hopes, fears and handling money. Come from the heart, always. You are fierce and independent sometimes. Slow down.
SCORPIO: In all things, especially food, diet, health, exercise there must be a constancy and regularity. This will be a challenge. Uranus is creating unevenness and chaos. Anything in excess over time creates a health situation. Have the willingness to tend to observe this. Ask if your daily work serves you while also helping others. Over time, your spiritual courage will change either the work you do or your perceptions about work. Service is your middle name.
SAGITTARIUS: You will have days of transformation amidst days of harmony, ease and spiritual realities. This tension creates attention to creating new things (artistic) and expressing yourself differently. If a parent, employer, director, boss you’ll enhance and improve everything about and for those you’re in charge of (steward). In between these yet simultaneously, you need a new sense fun, pleasure, and perhaps even a new someone to “relate” to. A group calls.
CAPRICORN: At times being the parent or head of household will feel so vast you’ll want to run away from home. Running is good (for exercise, to run a race), but always you come home again. Everyone needs you. Oh, dear, if you hear the words “needs you” one more time, you’ll expire! You’re restless for new realities at home, needing more psychological, physical and emotional space. You need a new foundation of support for self and a new foundation to believe in. Where’s your mommy?
AQUARIUS: Are you often traveling? Are you learning new information, seeking it out, or is it finding you? Over time the lessons learned now will appear and be understood. Be in contact with brothers and sisters, relatives, family. Everyone’s changing. You are, too. Share this with them, ask about their lives. You need to encounter everything new. Each week I repeat – careful with money and resources. Careful.
PISCES: You’re in deep waters, on the edge of new archetypes, waiting for new realities, seeking new values, learning how to gather resources and money, have Right Stewardship and Right Timing. You want to begin something. You seek a safe haven. In Permaculture, which observes living systems and how they relate, “the most diversity exists at the edges. It is here that change happens naturally.” Remain always at the edge. There it’s safe.
