The Roots and STS9 were announced as headliners for this year’s Wakarusa in the first of the festival’s lineup announcements today.

The festival, located at the scenic Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Ark. will be hosted June 4-7.
In addition to the first rounds of artists, Wakarusa recently announced their Mulberry Mountain is My Muse, art grant program. The goal of the program is to promote an artistic and creative community within the festival through funded art grants. Those interested in applying are encouraged to submit a proposal via the Wakarusa website through March 20, 2015, according to a press release.
