The lineup for Wakarusa has finally become complete.
Those of you with the “Umphlove” should be happy to see that Umphrey’s McGee were announced today that they’ll be making their return to Mulberry Mountain.
Along with Umphrey’s, today’s lineup announcement included Major Lazer, Thievery Corporation, Dirty Heads and Lotus.
This year appears to be expanding Wakarusa’s horizons to include more EDM, hip hop and reggae than before. With the surprising addition of The Roots and the fitting Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals headlining this year, the festival should be quite the event.
Also yesterday, the Waka Winter Classic, which is a battle of the bands format concert where the winner gets a set at the festival, announced their Fayetteville lineup. The roster for this year’s concert on Feb. 6 at George’s Majestic Lounge includes The Galaxy Tour Guides, Irie Lions, Vintage Pistol, Move Orchestra and Crazy Neighbor. Go out and support local music!
Full Event Passes, as well as VIP, Camping and RV Passes for Wakarusa are now on sale. For lineup and ticketing information visit the official Wakarusa website: www.wakarusa.com. For more information on the Waka Winter Classic visit: www.wakawinterclassic.com.
