WAC adds The Canadian Tenors
Platinum-selling vocal group The Canadian Tenors will perform a blend of classical and contemporary pop music at Walton Arts Center’s Baum Walker Hall on Saturday, April 9 at 7 p.m. Tickets are now on sale and range from $24 to $38. The Canadian Tenors have crisscrossed the globe, thrilling fans with their voices, sense of humor and music. The Tenors enjoyed tremendous success in 2009 as both their debut and holiday albums were certified gold in Canada. The group has made recent appearances on Oprah with Celine Dion, on Dr. Phil, at the opening ceremonies of the Vancouver Olympics and at the NBA All-Star game.
The foursome have received rave reviews and standing ovations from the Tel Aviv Opera house where they shared the stage with Andrea Bocelli, to Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Coliseum and NYC’s Madison Square Gardens with David Foster and Friends Hitman Tour, to Toronto’s Air Canada Centre where they headlined at “One Night Live” with Sting and Sheryl Crow, to Sarah McLachlan’s Summer Sessions concert with Neil Young. The group has collaborated with legendary producers Quiz and Larossi in Sweden (Il Divo), Bob Ezrin (Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd) Grammy Award-winner Steve Thompson (Madonna) and Juno Award winner Jeff Wolpert (Loreena McKennitt).
