Open in Fayetteville

A couple of business openings were spotted in Fayetteville recently: a new Slim Chickens location and a vintage boutique called Grey Dog.
Slim Chickens
A new Slim Chickens, opening Wednesday, April 13.
A quick call to the corporate line and Rob Byford of Slims confirmed this will indeed be a new location — opening tomorrow (Wednesday, April 13) — with the wings flinger’s spot on College Avenue remaining in operation. Byford said the new spot, will be much bigger, should a have a little more bluesy feel to it and will have slightly different operating hours than the College location.
The College Avenue location is where Slims first got its start in 2003. With the second Fayetteville wing destination, Slims will have nine restaurants open in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Grey Dog
The uniquely housed Grey Dog occupies a gleaming metal trailer in the otherwise empty lot across the street from the Starlight Skatium on College Avenue in downtown Fayetteville.
While I didn’t get a chance to visit more than the exterior, I look forward to finding out more about the shiny vintage boutique.
