Flooding Closes
Fayetteville Roads
Because of really bad weather — i.e., unbelievable neverending rain and thunderstorms — the city of Fayetteville is advising residents to stay off roads or use extreme caution if they must drive.
The city says there are already places with hazardous standing and running water, including major flooding in the area of College and Rebecca.
These roads have been closed due to flooding:
• Township
• Gregg
• 15th Street
• Johnson
• Sycamore
• Wedington
• Porter Road
• Leverett
• Rebecca
For additional information about street closings, please contact Don Marr, City Chief of Staff, at 601-3929. If you have an emergency, please call 911.
