A fundraiser will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. July 31 at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville for Neill Williamson, a longtime George’s and Jose’s employee and Dickson Street fixture.

Neill has lived with cerebral palsy but is now suffering from a form of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

The money raised will go to Neill for living expenses as well as medical care.

Music will be provided by the Red Barn Ramblers whose membership includes locals such as Earl Cate, Dave Ervin, JT Huff, Franklin Evarts and Neal Pendergraft, Branson area musicians Bill White and Martin Short, Gerry Moss, Paul Hughes and Jerry Bone from the Famous Unknowns and Denver, Colo.-singer CJ Nicolai as well as John Ware and Don Johnson, former players from Emmy Lou Harris’ Hot Band.

The cover is $5, and there will be a silent auction as well. To donate, call
841-1310.
