How-To-Self-Publish Seminar

Dear Editor:

In November 2011, I published a children’s book called “The Journey to Stone Village.” I wrote the book several years earlier and had tried to find an illustrator and publishing company for a long, long time.

Once I figured out the system on how to publish, I knew that I had to share it with others who had a message, story or experience that they wanted to share with the world.

In 2012 we held the class at Christian Life Cathedral and two of our attendees self-published shortly after. One of them was picked up by Tate Publishing this year!

We’ll be holding another workshop on March 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Christian Life Cathedral on Millsap Road in Fayetteville. During the workshop we cover how to find an illustrator, editors or ghost writers, how to find a publishing company and how to build a website in under 30 minutes.

The workshop will also feature author Nicole Donoho, author of “Annabelle’s Boots,” and Barry West, author of “Growing Up.” All you have to do is register! www.selfpublishing101.org.
